Canon EOS RS is an upcoming high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to be announced in late 2020. It will replace current EOS 5DS & 5DS R.
The upcoming Canon EOS RS high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera will be officially announced ahead of CP+ in February. According to CR, first rumored specs of Canon EOS RS now available online, these specs are from unknown sources, take with a grain of salt.
According to CR, Canon will release a total of 4 new full frame cameras in 2020 full frame camera roadmap.

As already rumored before, Canon will announce two new EOS R mirrorless system cameras in the first half of 2020. One announcement in February ahead of CP+ 2020, the other in May ahead of Photokina 2020.

According to CR, Canon will announce two new EOS R bodies in the first half of 2020. Rumors said that Canon will be “stepping it up a gear” when it comes to specifications for the next two EOS R bodies. Currently, there is no confirmed info about what are two new EOS R bodies. Stay tuned.

According to latest rumors on CR, after the Canon EOS-1D X Mark III (B&H/Adorama/Amazon), Canon will focus again on EOS R mirrorless system. Ahead of CP+ show 2020 in February, Canon will announce a new EOS R mirrorless camera, most likely the Canon EOS RS high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera. And at least two new RF lenses. The rumored Canon EOS R Mark II is coming later 2020.

According to latest rumors, Canon will announce a new high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera to replace current EOS 5DS/5DS R in early 2020, expected announcement in early February, 2020. The name of this camera could be Canon EOS RS.
Canon is not expected to announce any new cameras & lenses in the rest of 2019, other than the RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Lens (Release date before December) and RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS Lens.
