As already rumored before, Canon will announce two new EOS R mirrorless system cameras in the first half of 2020. One announcement in February ahead of CP+ 2020, the other in May ahead of Photokina 2020.
The February announcement is for the long awaited Canon EOS RS high-megapixel full frame mirrorless camera. You can take a look at rumored specs of Canon EOS RS.
The May announcement is still unknown yet, previously rumors said that Canon may announce the EOS R Mark II. But now according to a new source, Canon may announce a low megapixels, high ISO EOS R mirrorless camera instead, to compete with the upcoming Sony a7S III.
