According to Northlight, Canon has filed a lens patent of RF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens, this lens patent has similar specs as already released RF 28-70mm f/2L USM lens.

According to previous rumors, Canon will soon announce the RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM lens, could be as early as CP+ Show 2019 in February.
