According to CR, Canon currently is accelerating the development of EOS R “Pro” full frame mirrorless camera. The EOS R Pro is known as mirrorless version Canon EOS-1D X Mark II or 1D X Mark III, designed for sports, wildlife photographers.
A new Canon patent for in-body stabilization and in-lens stabilization working together in the EOS R full frame mirrorless system now get uncovered. As already rumored before, Canon will bring IBIS feature to the upcoming EOS R pro model and high-end model.

As already rumored before, Canon will announce a “head scratcher” EOS R body in later this year, now according to rumors from CR, this new camera body could be a dedicated EOS R body for astrophotography with a full-frame sensor. This would be Canon’s first full-frame astrophotography dedicated camera body.
