Lugging a heavy Canon EOS 5D Mark IV with a professional f/2.8 lens for an eight-hour wedding or landscape shoot will absolutely destroy your neck and shoulders if you are still using the stiff, narrow stock strap that came in the box. To spare you from chronic fatigue, we spent over forty hours testing fifteen…
Dragging a heavy professional body like the Canon EOS R2 through a ten-hour wedding or a weekend of street photography creates a specific kind of neck fatigue that can sideline your creativity. Most stock straps are glorified billboards that dig into your skin and offer zero weight distribution. I spent three months field-testing fifteen different…
Carrying a Canon EOS 5D Mark IV for an eight-hour wedding or a long day of landscape trekking is a grueling test of endurance. That 890g body, often paired with a heavy 24-70mm f/2.8 or 70-200mm lens, quickly turns the stock Canon neck strap into a painful cheese-grater on your collarbone. I spent three months…
That standard-issue black and red “CANON” neck strap that came with your Rebel T7 is likely the primary reason your neck feels like it’s been through a cheese-grater after a three-hour photo walk. After testing 14 different suspension systems over…
Dragging a pair of Canon EOS R Mark II bodies through a twelve-hour wedding day is a recipe for chronic shoulder fatigue and a stiff neck if you’re still relying on the “out of the box” Canon neck strap. Between the weight of the RF 28-70mm f/2 lens and the constant need to swap between…
Nothing ruins a day of street photography faster than the stiff, scratchy nylon strap that Canon includes in the box with the EOS M200. While the camera itself is a featherweight marvel, its stock strap lacks the flexibility and skin-friendly texture needed for four-hour treks through the city. To find a better solution, I spent…
Standard neck straps included with the Canon EOS 2000D are notorious for their abrasive texture and poor weight distribution, often leading to significant neck fatigue during long days of shooting. After spending three months field-testing fifteen different mounting systems across city streets and hiking trails, I have identified the best solutions for securing your gear…
Carrying the Canon EOS M6 for eight hours straight shouldn’t feel like a chore, yet the “billboard” strap included in the box often leads to neck chafing and an aching shoulder by midday. After field-testing twelve different setups over forty miles of urban hiking and street photography, I found that the Peak Design Slide Lite…
