New Canon Announcement Rumored in Late September

According to the The Camera Insider, Canon may announce new gear later in September. The late August to late September timeframe is often busy with camera-related announcements from major manufacturers. Nikon and Sony are both expected to have big reveals soon. Fujifilm will likely also be unveiling their tilt-shift lenses.

For Canon specifically, there have been whispers of a September announcement, but details remain unconfirmed. If an announcement does happen, it will likely focus on new RF and RF-S lenses. Canon has a tendency to spread out lens announcements over a period of time.

As for cameras, there is no solid information about a new Canon camera release in Q4 2023, though a surprise announcement like the EOS R3 is always possible.
