Canon EOS R5S/R3 High Megapixel Full Frame Mirrorless Camera in Testing

As already rumored before, the upcoming Canon’s high megapixel full frame mirrorless camera EOS R3/R5S is expected to be announced in later 2020, and release date in early 2021. Now according to CR, this camera now in testing by a small group of Canon photographers.

The source said Canon EOS R5S/R3’s megapixel count is “significantly lower than 150mp”, but that it “just about doubles” the 45mp sensor in the upcoming Canon EOS R5. The video specs of Canon EOS R5S/R3 will not all that impressive, as this camera is mainly for photo not video.
