According to CR, the price for upcoming Canon EOS R5 body in Europe may already leaked online. It could costs €4,500 for body only. Since EURO price also includes VAT, so the US price for Canon EOS R5 body will definitely be below $4,000 USD, which is already rumored before.
There is a new source said that Canon EOS R5 will be released in early August, 2020.
