Northlight Image has uncovered a Canon patent that showcases various optical formulas for apodization lenses (Also called Defocus Smoothing). The recently announced Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L USM DS Lens has this apodization patent.

According to Nokishita Camera, Canon recently registered five new Canon lenses in Russia, since Canon currently is focus on RF lenses, so all these five new lenses could be upcoming RF lenses. During the EOS R5 development announcement, Canon also said that 9 new RF lenses will coming in 2020.
Nokishita reports that the upcoming Canon EOS R3 and its accessories have been added to Canon’s latest product list, along with previous leaked RF 16mm f/2.8 STM lens and RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM lens.
